In 2010, the French have paid out of pocket spending by 9.4% in health
Health spending in France has reached € 234.1 billion in 2010, three-quarters funded by Social Security, 13.5% of the bodies and more than 9.4% by the patients themselves.
As was the case in 2009, the unpaid portion of health spending declined slightly in 2010, according to the latest edition of "Health Accounts" published on Wednesday.
This depends on a maximum of 9.7% in 2008, which has fallen 0.3 percentage points.
In fact, the swelling volume of the management of patients with AML weighs heavily on this apparent improvement. For "off-ALD" - under the effect of deductibles, reductions in reimbursement rates made on certain drugs or more package ... hospital - the co-payment has increased. Therefore, in the city, the French themselves have directly financed 12% of its expenditures (55% of Medicare and supplemental health refunded 33%). For medications, the patients are out of pocket a sum of 16.3%. And the hospital, rest paid is 3.2%.
In total, in 2010, the amount of current health expenditure amounted to 234.1 billion euro in France, or 12.1% of gross domestic product (GDP). Consumer care and medical goods (CSBM), which represents three quarters, meanwhile reached € 175 billion. The proportion of CSBM funded by Social Security is 75.8%, ie, with the support of other agencies is 13.5%.
